Introducing Pistonik, Linn’s first ever in-house drive units. Designed from first principles over three years, the new 6” upper bass and 8” woofer units are built around Linn’s unique Pistonik motor system. With it these drivers achieve ultimate linearity across a prodigious excursion range, with dramatically lower distortion and great accuracy than anything available elsewhere.

Pistonik produces flawless force over its entire range of in-and-out travel, even when driven extremely hard with bass-heavy music, thanks to a very long-stroke motor topology with a specially extended magnet gap. Major innovations throughout its design engineer out magnetic, mechanical, and thermal factors which together conspire to defeat linearity.

Available for their reference 360 speakers, these new units redefine the state of the art – delivering deeper, cleaner, more controlled bass, with total accuracy, and the widest truly linear excursion of any low-frequency drive units.

To coincide with the launch of the first-ever Linn-designed drive units, a new finish has been added to the range available for their flagship 360 speakers.

A gorgeous and highly desirable walnut wood veneer finish joins the Classic Collection, available to order now with the choice of either anodised black or silver machined aluminium trim. All new pairs of 360 feature Linn’s brand-new upper bass and woofer units which deliver ultimate linearity for clearer, more controlled and accurate bass.
